Brad Pitt’s greatest quality is that he does not blow all of his money on himself.

Brad Pitt is one of those actors who has had the good fortune to get some of the greatest parts in a row, ever since he first appeared on the scene in the late 1980s. He’s also had the good fortune of navigating between the blockbuster and independent cinema industries, giving Oscar-worthy performances and making some fun cameos.

He’s one of Hollywood’s golden boys, who can’t seem to do anything wrong. He’s always been very dedicated to his job, whether he’s getting paid seven times more than his co-stars or taking a pay cut of a few thousand dollars to get certain projects produced.

He would have had a far higher net worth if he hadn’t turned down so many famous parts during his career. He even rejected down the part of Neo in The Matrix, which would have paid him almost his entire $300 million fortune. However, some of Hollywood’s most prestigious parts will come to him first, whether he accepts them or not, and he’ll continue to be one of the world’s highest-paid actors, leaving us all wondering…what does he spend his millions on?

Michael Chaar updated this page on October 7, 2021: Brad Pitt has amassed a $300 million net worth as a result of his roles in some of the most well-known films. With such a large bank account, it’s no wonder that he and his now-ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, spent millions on real estate all around the globe. Pitt went to great lengths to live a life of luxury, from their $35 million French chateaus to buying a $324 million superyacht. Brad Pitt is also a philanthropist, having donated millions to charities and organizations dear to his heart throughout his career, including Unicef, Doctors Without Borders, and his own Jolie-Pitt Foundation. Pitt’s divorce with Angelina Jolie, which was completed in 2019 and has cost the actor well over $10 million in costs and child support, seems to be one major expense.

He Has An Enormous Real Estate Portfolio

We must remember that the majority of Pitt’s investments were made during his marriage and partnership with now-ex-wife Angelina Jolie when they had a combined net worth of $555 million. So they had the financial wherewithal to spend a lot of money together, some of which was spent on big real estate projects.

Pitt’s real estate portfolio is believed to be valued at about $100 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, and includes homes all around the globe. The pair shared houses in France, London, and Los Angeles for when they shot there, but they also had homes in even more opulent locations where they fell in love.

They purchased an 1830s New Orleans home for $3.5 million in 2007 (which they sold for $4.9 million following their divorce), a West London mansion for $16.8 million in 2012, and a Chateau Miraval in France for $35 million in 2008.

Pitt purchased Elvira’s scary home in Los Feliz, California, for $1.7 million in 1994, before marrying Jolie (and Jennifer Aniston). Over time, when Pitt acquired more and more of the surrounding property, this became the family’s L.A. complex. Pitt purchased a $3.1 million private house in Mallorca in 2016 and intends to construct a $2.5 billion hotel in Croatia. He also has a $4 million seaside house in Santa Barbara, which he bought in 2000.

Philanthropy Is Expensive

Pitt considers charity work to be one of the most essential aspects of his life, and he has done a lot of it. It brought him and Jolie together, and throughout their marriage and afterward, they went out to assist as many people as they could all around the globe.

When they went to Haiti following the earthquake, it was one of their largest charity projects ever. They gave $1 million to Doctors Without Borders, an emergency response organization. Pitt has also volunteered to assist those in need in Pakistan, and he and Jolie subsequently contributed $1 million to a UN refugee organization.

They also invested heavily in Ethiopia, where they adopted their daughter, Zahara, and donated $2 million to a clinic there in 2008. Pitt also aided Hurricane Katrina’s relief efforts by donating millions of dollars and constructing homes for victims.

The pair has also given $1 million to the Global Action for Children charity, a non-profit is devoted to assisting children and orphans all over the globe. Pitt contributed $100,000 to the Human Rights Campaign in 2012 to promote marriage equality, and the Jolie-Pitt Foundation was established in 2006.

Brad Pitt joined up with the Property Brothers in 2020 to fully renovate the house of his longtime friend and make-up artist, Jean Black. While the price was not revealed during the Celebrity IOU segment, it is obvious that it was a significant investment; nevertheless, Pitt made it plain that Black earned it and then some, which is the backstory to the emotional incident.

Brad Pitt’s Automobiles, Yachts, and Other Luxuries

Pitt and Jolie spend their money on costly means of transportation in addition to real estate and charitable activities. They spent $322 million on a “superyacht” and another $200,000 to adorn it, as well as $1.6 million on a $1.6 million helicopter that Jolie pilots herself and a $3.3 million Spitfire aircraft.

A Tesla Model S, a Camaro SS, a Jeep Cherokee, a Chevy Tahoe, a BMW Hydrogen 7, and an Aston Martin Vanquish Carbon Edition are among their automobiles. Pitt also owns some Ducati motorcycles, as well as a Husqvarna Nuda 900R, an MV Agusta Brutale, a Zero Engineering Type9, and a Shinya Kimura Custom.

Apart from that, Pitt has spent money on things like creating his furniture brand and collecting antique timepieces. A gold Cartier Tank a Guichet, a Patek Philippe Nautilus, a Patek Philippe Ellipse in By The Sea, and a stainless steel Rolex Explorer are among the watches in his collection. His teeth were chipped for his part in Fight Club, which was one of his strangest purchases.

Brad Pitt’s ★ Divorce

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorced in 2019, after spending millions on their wedding and, of course, $250,000 each on wedding rings. However, with custody fights and, of course, dividing their numerous estates, it’s obvious that Brad is paying out the big dollars in legal costs!

Pitt allegedly lent Jolie $8 million to purchase a new home after their divorce, and he reportedly pays $1.3 million in child support. Their divorce lasted almost six years, making it one of the longest celebrity divorces we’ve ever seen. However, the price tag was enormous. According to Cinema Blend, the couple spent more than $1 million on their divorce procedures, which does not include child support or alimony. Yikes!
