Tom Cruise satiated his need… Saturday night, he was in desperate need of throwing speed.

Cruise and his son Connor were in attendance at Oracle Park for Game 2 of the National League Division Series between the Giants and the Dodgers. Cruise rolled with the attention, talking, fist-bumping, and posing for photos as fans recognized the renowned face in their midst.

Quick-thinking personnel blasted “Danger Zone” across the stadium as the Top Gun actor smiled and waved to the fans as his face appeared on the jumbotron mid-game.

On Saturday, Cruise wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance; Danny Glover was also in attendance, and the two posed for photos.

Cruise refused to specify which side he was rooting for, stating simply, “I’m a baseball fan,” according to Giants reporter Amy Gutierrez.

The Giants went on to lose 9–2 to the Dodgers, and the teams will face again in Game 3 of the NLDS on Monday in Los Angeles.

The big screen is one area where Cruise has been conspicuously absent. Top Gun: Maverick’s release date has been moved back from November 19 to May 27, 2022, which was previously set for Mission: Impossible 7. The film will now be released on September 30, 2022.

After many individuals engaged in the products tested positive for coronavirus, filming on Mission: Impossible 7 was halted in June, months after Cruise chastised the M: I 7 team for breaking COVID procedures.
